Kite Circuit (2005)

This playful short follows nine interwoven stories, all of which occur within the span of a minute at the end of a candy-coloured road called Kite Circuit. Two hit men threaten to drop a woman off the side of an office tower, while below them two cops intercept an alleged drug trafficker, and a highly confrontational woodpecker attacks people's reflections. These and other vignettes weave together to form a rich tapestry of organised and highly entertaining chaos.
Kite Circuit premiered at the 5th Tribeca Film Festival in New York City in April 2006 and went on to play at the Milwaukee International Film Festival, GlobalFest and the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, among others.
