AUSTIN ANDREWS (director) has
an extensive background in both the artistic and technical sides of filmmaking.
His directing credits include television commercials for Globalstar
Australia and the surfwear label Cult, several award-winning short films,
and two feature length dramas. The most recent among those is the Alberta
Foundation For The Arts supported experimental drama Oblivion,
which premiered in 2004 with a simultaneous web-linked Canadian/Australian
gala. Other recent credits for nineteen-year-old Austin include the award-winning
short films How My Next Door
Neighbour Discovered Life On Mars and Losing
Today (both as director),
the ABC documentary Ebony’s Stage (as director of photography),
and production roles on the feature film The Marine (for 20th
Century Fox) and the television series’ Breakout (for MTV
Canada) and Hooked
Up (for Nomadic Pictures).
